Terms of Use

1. Description of the Service

Lena's MyKitchen is an Android weekly meal planner. It lets you keep your own recipes, plan meals for a single meal, a day or a whole week, optionally ask for meal suggestions, and build a grocery list from what you have planned. It includes recipe libraries in English and other languages (currently Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Nepali).

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for adults who plan meals for a household. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and Guest Use

You can try the App as a guest without giving a name or email address, or sign in with Google or with an email address and password. A guest account exists only on the phone where it was created; if you uninstall the App or clear its data before signing in, it cannot be recovered. Signing in later keeps everything you created as a guest.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Free Trial and Premium

• Free trial. Each new account may receive a free 7-day trial of Premium from us, without a purchase or payment details. We offer one free trial per phone and per email address and may refuse or end a trial that is obtained by misuse (for example repeated reinstalling or new accounts).
• Subscriptions. After the trial, Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription sold through Google Play Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel them in the Google Play Store (Payments & subscriptions). Introductory offers or Google Play free trials may be available to eligible users, as shown in the App.
• Lifetime. Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase that does not renew.
• Prices. Prices, offers and applicable taxes are shown in the App and by Google Play before you pay, and may differ by country and change over time.
• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and refund policies. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; contact us if you believe you were charged in error.
• Without Premium. Your recipes, plans and grocery lists stay viewable and exportable; planning, editing and other Premium features are unavailable until Premium is active again.
• Your account. Premium belongs to your Lena's MyKitchen account and works on any phone where you sign in to it.

5. Recipes, Food and Health

Recipes, suggestions, side-dish pairings, quantities, cooking times and translations in the App are general cooking guidance. They are not medical, nutritional or dietary advice and may contain errors. Diet, allergy and dislike filters depend on recipe information that may be incomplete.

• Always check every ingredient against your own allergies, intolerances, health conditions and dietary needs, and those of anyone you cook for.
• Follow safe food handling and cooking practices, including correct cooking temperatures and hygiene.
• Quantities on the grocery list are estimates; check them before you shop.

6. Your Content

Recipes, notes, photos and plans you add remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the App to you, including cloud backup and restore when you are signed in. Please only add content you have the right to use, and do not upload anything unlawful.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App unlawfully; attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract its source code or recipe libraries except where the law allows; interfere with or overload its servers; access it by automated means without our written permission; or misuse free trials, offers or purchases.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, software, logos, text and its recipe libraries and translations, is owned by or licensed to Lena Snappyapps Technologies (OPC) Private Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App for your own household; no other rights are granted.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase (sign-in, cloud database, cloud functions and analytics) and Google Play (distribution and billing). Your use of them is also subject to their own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account, or on the web). We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or misuse the App. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it in the Google Play Store.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that recipes, translations, suggestions or quantities are accurate or complete.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lena Snappyapps Technologies (OPC) Private Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including any reliance on recipes or food information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Disputes arising from these Terms or the App are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the App or the law changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give notice in the App or on this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
