This Privacy Policy explains how Lena Snappyapps Technologies (OPC) Private Limited ("Lena Astrology", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Lena Astrology Android application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Birth details — your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth, which are required to calculate your Vedic birth chart.
- Account information — your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
- Questions you ask Lena — text you enter when requesting AI-powered astrological guidance.
Information collected automatically
- Location — with your permission, your device's GPS location, used to improve the accuracy of location-dependent calculations such as Panchangam and Muhurta timings for your current location.
- Usage and analytics data — how you interact with the App, device and operating system information, and crash or performance logs, used to understand and improve the App.
Payment information
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made and basic transaction details (such as the product purchased and amount), but we do not collect or store your card number or other full payment credentials — those are handled directly by Google Play under its own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To calculate your birth chart and generate personalised horoscopes, Panchangam, and Muhurta calculations.
- To provide AI-powered astrological guidance in response to your questions.
- To create and manage your account, and communicate with you about the App, including support requests and service updates.
- To process in-app purchases and maintain records of your subscription or purchase status.
- To monitor, maintain, and improve the App's performance and features through usage analytics.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. AI-Generated Guidance & Third-Party Processing
Lena Astrology uses a third-party AI service provider to generate the astrological guidance you receive when you ask Lena a question. To do this, the relevant portions of your birth chart data and your question text are sent to that provider for processing.
Our third-party AI provider processes this information on our behalf, under contractual terms that restrict them from using your data for any purpose other than generating a response to you and improving the reliability of that service. We do not sell your birth chart or question data to any third party.

5. Data Storage & Security
Your information is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (including Google Firebase / Google Cloud services) with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect it against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the App's features to you. We may retain certain information for longer where required to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, or to resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Section 7 below.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access and correction — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain certain records.
- Location and permissions — you can enable or disable location access at any time through your device's app permission settings.
- Withdrawing consent — where we rely on your consent to process information, you may withdraw it at any time; this will not affect processing already carried out.

8. Children's Privacy
Lena Astrology is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@snappyapps.in so we can take appropriate action.
9. Cookies & Analytics
Our website (including this page) may use basic cookies or similar technologies for analytics purposes, to understand how visitors use our pages. Within the App itself, we use analytics tools to understand feature usage and app performance rather than browser cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and will provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
